Wood's new members in the Water Industry

Wood's develops, manufactures and sells high-quality air treatment products for a better indoor climate. We had a chat with Eric Tedsjö, CEO, about how they work to improve the working environment in water and wastewater utilities and specific industrial sectors, as well as Wood's focus on sustainable choices and innovation.
For the water and sanitation sector in Sweden, Wood's develops specially designed solutions for tough and corrosive environments, including solving odor problems in water and sanitation facilities, eliminating hazardous gases and thus contributing to extending the life of sensitive components. All for an improved working environment and a more cost-effective and sustainable operation.
– Wood's is an all-Swedish company that develops, manufactures and sells high-quality air care products to create a better climate – both indoors and within specific industrial sectors. With headquarters and production in Alingsås and another production facility in Mariestad, we stand for Swedish values such as quality, innovation and sustainability. Our product development also takes place mainly in Sweden, where we constantly work to improve our solutions and meet our customers' needs with leading technology, says Eric Tedsjö.
Today, Wood's operates in four countries, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and France, with sales in a further 15 countries. When asked what issues they are particularly passionate about, Eric Tedsjö answers:
– We are particularly passionate about a sustainable water and sanitation climate that protects both the environment and the efficiency of the facilities and ensuring a safe and secure working environment within the water and sanitation sector. Our solution should be easy to work with and we also think it is fun to create joint development projects with municipalities. Through energy-efficient and innovative solutions, we can reduce the impact on nature and the environment. We are also proud of our Swedish production and development, where we combine tradition with modern technology and can quickly adapt to customer needs.
At the end of last year, Wood's became members of the Water Industry.
– We see great value in being part of a network that promotes collaboration between companies and customers. Being part of the Water Industry not only strengthens our position within VA in Sweden, but also gives us the opportunity to share our expertise and benefit from the experiences of others. We are convinced that the VA industry will become increasingly important in the future, and we want to be part of that development, says Eric Tedsjö and continues:
