The Swedish Water Industry is the trade association for consultants, contractors and product suppliers within water purification and water treatment. Good business climate and a meeting place for member companies
The water industry works for a good business climate where actors in the water and sanitation industry can together find the best solution for the challenges we face with climate change, increased urbanization, capacity shortages and the need for new technology to meet updated requirements. Our member companies have many years of experience, broad expertise and offer cutting-edge technology.
We represent the interests of our members towards legislators, authorities, water and sanitation authorities and other actors and organizations. Our overall goal is to strengthen the competitiveness of our members and the industry as a whole.

The story of Water industry
The water industry was founded in 1967 under the name Varim. Since then, the association has developed into the business community's obvious trade organization for companies that contribute to ensuring a long-term and sustainable water and wastewater supply in Sweden.
