Winner named in Best Thesis 2025!
To raise awareness and raise the status of the water and sanitation sector, Svenskt Vatten, Structorstiftelsen and – starting this year – the Water Industry – are awarding prizes for the best thesis in the water and sanitation sector. The winner has now been chosen for 2025.
We thank our jury Dennis Adolfsson, group manager VA process, Sweco and Matilda Jirblom, process engineer, Ramboll and chair of the Next Generation Focus Group. The winners are Kaleb Engvall for ”"Method selection for removal of PFAS – An investigation of pilot experiments at waterworks", Uppsala University, supervisor Stephan Köhler, Norconsult.
The award for best thesis in 2025 will be presented at Swedish Water's Water Council on May 18-20, 2026 in Malmö and the award ceremony itself will be carried out by the chairman of the Swedish Water Industry, John Skantze, on May 20, at 9:30 a.m.
