Report: The future of the water and sanitation industry and tomorrow's challenges

The Water Industry Internship Program will be launched in the summer of 2024. During the program, participating students investigated Lara Siadat, Sofia Larsson, Elisa Rosvall and Saeid Saeidi how we can attract more people to choose a career in water.

The results of their insights are collected in the report. The future of the water and sanitation industry and tomorrow's challenges which was released in conjunction with the Water Industry FORUM24.

– What respondents in our survey think is important in a workplace is the opportunity to work on something important to society, the opportunity for career development and a good salary. The results also show that many people think they have poor knowledge of the water and sanitation industry and that many have negative stereotypes, but these are not true, which we have received a lot of evidence of during the summer, the students said in connection with the release of the report.
