Membership application

As a member of the association, the board can accept companies or organizations that are active in the water industry in Sweden and actively want to work to develop the industry. Applications for membership must be made in writing to the association's office. The membership fee is based on the current year's price base amount.

The membership fee is based on the current year's price base amount. Please note that subsidiaries of group/holding companies do not automatically become members, but each legal entity must be a member to benefit from the membership.

Full membership

Full membership is the usual form of membership that gives you voting rights at the association's annual and autumn meetings, a discount on the Water Industry FORUM & Meeting Place Vatten and much more.

Reduced membership

Reduced membership is a kind of trial membership and is offered for the first two years. This form of membership does not give voting rights or discounts at the Water Industry FORUM & Meeting Place Water. Membership automatically changes to full after two years if you have not already upgraded your company.

Membership for micro-enterprises

Membership for micro-enterprises (according to the EU definition) includes the same as a full membership, but at half the membership fee. In addition, it offers mentorship, guidance and knowledge on navigating the industry, as well as an opportunity to develop strategic partnerships.

Subsidiaries in group and holding companies

Subsidiaries in group and holding companies are offered the following form of membership in order to be able to include the entire group in the membership in a more advantageous way:

The parent company pays the full association and service fee, which means they can take full advantage of all discounts and benefits and send three people to each member meeting (after which the participants are invoiced for their own costs)
Affiliates pay full association fees to become members, but receive an adjusted service fee with a 50% discount on the service fee. They can also take full advantage of all discounts and benefits and send one person to each member meeting (after which the participants are billed for their own costs)

The application is emailed to office@vattenindustrin.se. The application is then processed by the Water Industry Board before we return with confirmation.
