Vattenindustrin wants to change this.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The water industry should be the obvious choice for young people who want to work with sustainability, new technology and feel that their work is important and makes a difference. This change needs to come soon. Another survey\u00b2 among managers and HR managers showed, among other things, the following effects of the skills shortage already today:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>82% of respondents believe that a lack of skills means they cannot expand their business as planned<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>45% of respondents believe that a lack of skills means they cannot develop products and services as planned<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>361% of respondents believe that lack of competence causes them to refrain from responding to tenders when certain competence requirements are missing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>In 2022, the Swedish Water Industry conducted two surveys among member companies:<br><\/em><em>\u00b9 The Road to the Water Industry 2022 \u2013 a survey with questions about how employees in member companies ended up in the water and sanitation industry<br><\/em><em>\u00b2 Skills Needs 2022 \u2013 a survey aimed at managers\/HR managers about perceived skills shortages today and in the long term<\/em><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I en unders\u00f6kning\u00b9 genomf\u00f6rd 2022 bland Vattenindustrins medlemmar svarade 72% nej p\u00e5 fr\u00e5gan om de aktivt s\u00f6kt sig till just VA-branschen.
