You will have a summer you will never forget!<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every summer, the Water Industry offers a paid Internship Program where students get the opportunity to experience what it is like to work with water from several different exciting perspectives and roles. In 2026, the program was implemented in Gothenburg and Halmstad. The participating companies were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hubersverige.se\/se.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Huber Technology<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sweco.se\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sweco Sweden<\/a>&nbsp;and <a href=\"https:\/\/uniwater.se\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Uniwater <\/a>in Gothenburg and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hms-networks.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">HMS Industrial Networks<\/a>&nbsp;in Halmstad, which provided a unique insight into several different parts of the industry!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ahead of the 2026 Internship program, the Water Industry has conducted a survey in digitalization which became the students&#039; project assignment and the results were presented at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nordiwa.org\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.nordiwa.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nordiwa<\/a> September 18, Stockholm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>We are now looking for new host companies for 2027. <\/strong>Would you like to be a host company or VA organization and receive students for a week in June or August 2027? Four member companies and water and sanitation organizations participated in each area from different parts of the water industry, which provided a unique insight.<\/p>\n<p>The selected participants jointly visited the companies and water and sanitation organizations for lectures, study visits, case studies and workshops. The results of the assignment will be presented at the Water2025 Meeting Place at the Swedish Exhibition and Congress in Gothenburg.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Water Industry Internship Program 2026.<br \/>\n<\/strong>In 2026, the location was Gothenburg and a week in Halmstad. Four participating member companies that work in different areas of the water treatment industry were hosts.<\/p>\n<p>In 2026, the students have focused on digitalization of the water and sanitation industry as their project assignment.
